Coaching is not currently a regulated industry in the state of New York. It will be solely the responsibility of the client to determine the effectiveness of the services rendered and the competency of the coach/coaches.
Coaching is not psychotherapy or counseling. Coaching does not address mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association. Your coaching sessions/workshops are not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, mental health care or substance abuse treatment. Psychotherapy is a healthcare service, and its primary focus is to identify, diagnose and treat nervous and mental disorders.
Coaching assumes the mental health of the client. Coaching is a collaborative process that is present and future oriented. It is action oriented, solution focused and encourages change. It involves accountability and commitment through increased competence, awareness, and confidence.
As the client, you set the agenda for these sessions and your success/results will largely depend upon your willingness to define goals and try new approaches. Agendas for workshops will be set by Courageous in Creation. You can expect Courageous in Creation, as your coach, to be honest and direct, asking straightforward questions and offering challenging techniques to help you keep moving forward.
-Co-create a collaborative partnership that supports you to deepen self-awareness, enhance creative ability, foster personal mastery, cultivate your full potential and obtain goals set forth by you.

Weekly inspired instructions may be provided as a result of findings from each session/workshop to be completed by you by the next session.

All coaching topics/issues for discussion are my choice. I am aware that I can choose to discontinue coaching at any time, as my coach/coaches may decide to discontinue their services at any time.
-I understand that coaching is a relationship with my coach/coaches that is designed to facilitate the creation of goals in different areas of my life and to develop and carry out a strategy plan for achieving those goals
-I understand that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of my life, including work, finances, health, relationships, and recreation. I acknowledge that deciding how to handle these issues and implementing my choices is exclusively my responsibility.
